No. The free plan includes 5 product imports with no credit card required. You only need to add payment details when you choose to upgrade to Pro or Business.

Importr works with all Shopify plans — Basic, Shopify, Advanced, and Plus. You just need a store with product write access enabled, which is included in all plans by default.

Currently one store per account. Multi-store support is on the roadmap for the Business plan. If this is important to you, let us know.

Importr supports amazon.com, amazon.co.uk, amazon.de, amazon.ca, amazon.com.au, amazon.fr, amazon.it, amazon.co.jp, and more. Just paste the product URL from any supported Amazon site and Importr detects the marketplace automatically.

Any publicly listed Amazon product across all categories — electronics, fashion, home goods, beauty, sports, toys, books and more. If it has a product page on Amazon, Importr can import it.

Currently Importr imports the main product listing. Full variant support (sizes, colors etc.) is coming in a future update.

Yes. Before anything is pushed to your store you see a review screen where you can set your sale price, compare-at price, override the title, and add tags. You're always in control.

Importr fetches the product data from Amazon and passes it to our AI model which rewrites the title, description, and tags specifically for Shopify. The output is conversion-focused copy rather than Amazon SEO-stuffed text.

The product title, full description, SEO page title, meta description, and product tags are all AI-generated. Images and pricing data come directly from Amazon and are not altered.

Yes — once the product is in your Shopify store you can edit it like any other product from your Shopify admin. The AI copy is a starting point, not locked in.

Reselling products is legal and is standard practice in dropshipping and retail arbitrage. You are sourcing products available for public purchase and reselling them at your own price. You are responsible for your own compliance with supplier terms and local regulations.

No — Importr handles product listing only. Order fulfillment is your responsibility and is managed through your chosen supplier. Many users fulfill via Amazon, AliExpress, or a private wholesale supplier.

Product images are typically owned by the manufacturer or brand. If you are an authorized reseller of the product, using manufacturer images is generally accepted practice. We recommend verifying with your specific supplier. Importr is not a legal advisor.

You'll be prompted to upgrade to a paid plan. Your existing 5 imported products remain live in your Shopify store — nothing is removed. You just need to upgrade to continue importing new ones.

Yes. Cancel anytime with no fees. You keep access until the end of your billing period. After cancellation you revert to the free plan — all your existing imported products stay live in Shopify.

Phone verification prevents abuse of the free plan. Each phone number can only be used for one Importr account, which keeps the free tier fair for everyone.
